When darkness turns to light, 2011 ends tonight.
I remembered stumbling upon one of Nut's blog post a few years back where she sorta summed up her whole year via movie ticket tabs. It did seem pretty interesting so decided I'll try to do the same. And I think I've managed that fairly for 2011.

Wow. 20 fucking movies in 2011. ._. I am appalled. I must acknowledge though that the best movie I ever watched in 2011 would be Larry Crowne. Worst? Contagion, maybe?


In any case, had countdown with the usual people over at Marina floating platform just a while back. Ticket was 25 bucks and I was telling PF how the thing that made half the price of the ticket worth it was the fireworks display. That was before we realized they opened up a dance floor over on the platform itself after the show, all the way till 3am.

Last time I clubbed was, back in OCS on one of the bookouts? Still remembered how I just ended a 14 day confinement and we booked out near midnight so the guys decided to bring me along. And on new year's when we clubbed (despite the outdoors), I totally understood why some people love clubbing so much. Really does depend on the company you're with though. And it was what prolly made most of my night.

Alright I'll shut up about clubbing and try to reflect now.


In 2011, I found my capabilities as a person. To think army really did push me that far.

I've learnt that mistakes are good, so long as they're accidental, non-deliberate mistakes. And that consequences can actually change your life forever.

I've learnt that thoughts can get in the way of feelings. That whilst thinking can sometimes make you feel like shit, you can actually choose how you ideally want to use these thoughts. For they can also make you stronger. At points where you are supposed to breakdown and cry, it can keep you going.

Wow okay. I hope I don't sound emo here.
Cause I'm not that kind of person. ._.
